Digital Cloud Art project was a multi-platform project for Philip Rees a 22 year old Belfast artist & entrepreneur.  Philip Rees approached @NISoftware after quitting his degree in Architecture, he decided to pursue his passion as an artist and start a business but did not have the knowledge or ability to make it happen.

Philip contacted the website and explained his project and the challenges he was facing.  One local firm quoted him £100,000 + for the site he wanted built.  Philip explained how he always wanted to work for himself  and wanted to get his DigitalCloudArt.com business venture up and running and start generating a wage for himself and hopefully create some jobs further down the line as he expands into international markets.  He was up front from the start letting us know that he did not have any money to pay the developers and would they consider helping a young aspiring entrepreneur get started.

After meeting with Phil and listening to more of what he had to say it was clear that the entrepreneur was full of ambition and positivity about his business and so NI developers decided that they would build the site & apps for him at no cost with only one request that he pays it forward.  "Pay it forward" is the concept is asking that a good turn be repaid by having it done on to others instead. So as payment we ask that once he is established in business that he helps someone else get a hand up rather than a hand out. 

DigitalCloudArt.com is a digital platform which comprises of a website, desktop application and mobile app that enables artists to showcase & sell their work online thus reaching a bigger market & reducing costs normally associated with bricks & mortar galleries.
